“ Our meal choices were good, and I especially enjoyed the Ahi Tuna Salad. Many complementary flavors with a mild kick of spice (cayenne) on the gently seared tuna. Note: A minor quibble was the credit card machine with a Tip that starts at 18%... ”
“ My husband and I went here for our anniversary dinner. The food was great, atmosphere was very enjoyable and the server was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. She made some great recommendations and even gave us a complimentary dessert. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and will definitely return to try some other dishes on the menu. “ This was my first time at El Corazon and we had a great time. The drink menu and especially the tequila selection was impressive. I loved that you could get a pitcher of specialty margaritas but do wish that there was a classic margarita option in the pitchers offerings. We started with some tapas and had the guac and chips, spicy jalepeno hummus, chorizo vino tinito, and tequenos. We enjoyed all of them. For my main I had the deconstructed burrito bowl which was delightful and we shared some churros for dessert that were perfection. The service was great. They even surprised us with a free shot. Perfect girls night out spot. ”

We enjoyed a complimentary taste of rose upon entering the restaurant and our fabulous server Nadine provided us with complimentary tequila shots at the end of the meal! So much yum bookended by free booze, whoop whoop! The meal included a cubano sandwich, seared tuna salad, the Corazon hot chicken and prawn ceviche! All dishes were excellent! Very flavourful! And I cannot say enough good things about the service. Thank you Mehraz and Nadine! If you are looking for a great evening out with good portions, a great wine and cocktail list, and friendly people, look no further! We will return! ”
“ This place was amazing! We started with some drinks, there was a large selection to choose from... Since we had a party of 5 we got the pitcher of Strawberry Mojito... Perfect for sharing. I liked the selection of domestic craft beers too... Death wave lager was definately one of my favorites. We all ended up sharing 3 orders of tacos (lamb, chicken, fish)... Only 2 tacos per order but very filling. They were all very good. Guac and chips, Argentinian provoleta were also excellent. For desert we had the churros and plantain sundae... Honestly I only liked the vanilla cream on the plate beside the plantain but there was nothing left over on the plates so it must have all been delicious! Service was great, our server made recommendations for the majority of our order and he did a good job listening to what we were interested in. The location of this restaurant was a big driver of our decision too...right in west block square with a coffee shop next door that we went to right before lunch. ”

Joining a number of other new services in a fresh new hip building, El Corazon is a truly welcome addition to this area. I had visited about a year ago and the service here had been atrocious. The food was only average and I had no intentions of ever returning. Fortunately we did... I've returned three times now and the experience has been simply out-of-this-world. I can't say enough. The food is top notch. They've taken Latin themes and created visually and tastefully stunning dishes. The menu is diverse with both smaller tapas and larger full meals. Our servers have always been excellent. Helpful and professional. The space is so sexy. Sleek and clean. There is also a patio for the summer to dine in the sunshine. Outstanding experience.
